About Judge James Lombardino
Judge James Lombardino was elected Justice of the Peace for Precinct 5, Place 1 in November 2024 and took the bench on January 1, 2025. Earlier public service includes serving as a Harris County District Court judge and as a Senior Visiting Judge appointed by the Texas Supreme Court. He began his career as a Harris County Assistant District Attorney.
He has also worked as an insurance arbitrator and mediator and in private practice in civil litigation and family law. He is a University of Houston and South Texas College of Law graduate, and was a founding member of Crime Stoppers of Houston and helped found the ESCAPE Family Resource Center.
